Ride the Midnight Sun – August 2019
5 Days Until the Yukon Adventure
The days are long and there’s an air of relaxation thats starting to hang in the night. We’re looking forward to seeing you this week in the land of the midnight sun. Whether on the trails, on “the beach”, or around the table, we look forward to creating a memorable experience.
Now, we’re sure you’re wondering about weather. the weather is looking great and summers in the Yukon are generally quite temperate and is in a semi-arid environment, meaning we don’t really receive a lot of rain. Average temperatures range from daytime highs of approximately 20°C/65°F to possible night time lows of 5°C/40°F.
Now, we’ve got a few more details and reminders for you and a brief layout of what the trip will look like.
A word about food during your stay:
One of the most important aspects of a great day of adventuring is fuel. The meals provided in our packages are delicious and locally-inspired with a strong emphasis on whole, healthy foods.
After everyone has enjoyed a morning coffee made from locally roasted beans from Midnight Sun Coffee Roasters, it is time to start our first feast of the day. Our sumptuous and healthy breakfast includes a variety of items such as croissants, eggs, ham, homemade granola, organic yogurt and fresh fruit.
Back at the Boréale Ranch after a great day on the adventure trail, appetizers will be served. You will have a chance to relax and enjoy the view, discuss the highlights of the day’s experiences and enjoy well deserved beverages while dinner is being prepared. Food and the concept of dining are important to Team Boréale, and we are confident you will be completely satiated. There is nothing like a well presented and delicious meal to cap off a perfect day exploring the Yukon.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible. We will endeavour to meet your needs.
